Carina Tafulu was born and raised in Palm Springs ,Ca. She found her passion in hair at a young age and decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. After graduation she worked in a salon and found it wasn’t all she wanted to do. She started competing and doing plat form work. Her love for hair grew even more and she started to branch out and started doing editorial work and music videos. 

Carina is a hairstylist more by passion then by trade, with interests in all aspects involving the world of hair.  She has 18 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist. Her expertise ranges in everything from cuts, color, styling, hair extensions, bridal hair and hair replacement. 

Carina's passion is fueled by her love of design and the artistic representation of hair.  Her freelance work has taken her from television to magazine to the runway. Carina has the ability to work well under pressure with speed and precision as well as improvise last minute changes on the fly.  Carina has a great passion in her career. She loves to create. More recently she has engaged in creative direction, in editorial and advertising work. She finds pleasure in collaborating with highly creative teams. Her clients range from Disney, Trunk Ltd, Columbia Records, Sony Records, Badgley Mishka and more.
